You probably haven't given much thought to that roll of dental floss in your medicine cabinet other than to promise yourself that you'll start using it real soon. Well, there are other reasons to get it out of the cabinet - and they have nothing to do with your teeth. It turns out that dental floss can be very useful - so useful that two prison inmates in Green Bay, Wisconsin were able to scale the prison wall using a rope they'd constructed out of thousands of yards of waxed dental floss, purchased in the prison canteen. Necessity really is the mother of invention!
Legal uses for dental floss:
1. Use to divide a cake layer or cut cake slices cleanly, with fewer crumbs.
2. Use in place of thread for hand sewing - stronger than regular thread.
3. Use to lace up a chicken or turkey before roasting.
4. Makes an excellent cheese slicer - better than a knife.
5. Use to restring broken bead or pearl necklaces.
