Q: I've never been able to achieve the success I've wanted. What does it really take to be a success?
A: First, recognize the truth in the old adage, "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again." Anyone truly can become successful -- and unstoppable. I've spent the last four and a half years researching and interviewing hundreds of successful people and the good news is that you don't have to be super-human to be successful.
All successful and unstoppable people experience rejection, frustration, disappointment, setbacks and even failure -- just like everyone else on the planet. But ultimately, what separates the achiever from the non-achiever is that they simply don't quit.
I think the best definition of being successful and unstoppable is simply choosing in any given situation to not let a person, circumstance, or -- most commonly -- ourselves, stop us from creating a result we really desire. To live an unstoppable life, we must simply create a series of these unstoppable moments.
